Where I’ve been and what’s going on
First and foremost, I must apologise in regards to my hiatus on blogging each Saturday these last few months.
So perhaps it would be best to begin a new season of blogs with a brief life update.
Firstly, I have lost one of my two jobs after finances and contract complications brought the place down. I am now however, happily working more hours and days at my current job, and have no complaints.
Secondly, I got in touch with a manuscript assessor to analyse my first novel, with great feedback and advice to boot. With some minor tweaks and reworks, “The Starlight Symphony: Movement One – The Kindling” nears its official completion for potential publication, which leaves me very excited!
Thirdly, I am knee deep in rehearsals for our local theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It. It is my second crack at Shakespeare and I could not be happier to play what everyone agrees is the role I am born to play.
I have two Kiwi films to discuss in one article, and I have two ideas on what video essays to create on my Youtube, where I will not only discuss what I’ve learned as a beginner write to now, but also discuss some points on one of my favourite musicals.
Now comes the challenge of making the time.
With that being said, I hope you’ve all had a lovely year so far and have a beautiful day!
Daniel
