2022: A Summary
Well, it’s finally coming to the peak of the Christmas season, and with it a whole year to reflect back on.
For me, the road has been bumpy, but no doubt has been rising to a peak. Social circles have expanded, opportunites have presented themselves and I now work two jobs that I love (without much mental and social strain on the brain!).
My blog’s have been both a joy and sometimes a chore to do, with a schedule as wonky as Lombard St. I have more Kiwi media to explore that’s waiting to be discovered.
For whatever the new year may bring, I have set forth in place many goals that while ambitious may pave they way for what I plan to bring both in my writing life and my presence on social media. More and more I feel compelled to bring my thoughts on storytelling and writing into a more concise and well-presented form. I have ideas to start creating videos on Youtube sharing advice, what I’ve learned as a beginning writer and many topics in the arts etc that I may want to compile and release.
I plan to make changes and additions to this website, including more information pertaining to my current work in progress, “Starlight Symphony Movement One - The Kindling”.
Speaking of which, I am now in the final stages of completing what will be a fourth and complete manuscript of said novel, which after some re-work and a read-along could stand at approximately 180,000 - 200,000 words.
Plans on constructing and laying out the full journey of the book series will also be in development.
Here on the website, I will add more pages expanding on the world and its characters, introducing them and the world the live in.
Work schedules and outside life will no doubt affect these plans, but I intend to make the time.
I will take a break from uploading blogs through Christmas season and into late January of February, once the festive mayhem has ceased.
With the turn of 2023 will bring about the turn of new horizons and many thanks to any and all that have followed me (even in intermittent windows) across my journey thus far.
Many thanks to family, friends both old and newly made this past year, and all others in my life that have made a difference.
Thank you all for reading and have a beautiful year!
Daniel
